Good. He's been decent from what we've seen so far.

Great. We now NEED to survive for any chance of keeping him. If he plays a blinder, he'll get better offers though. It's the West Ham Way.
* That said, he appears to be a happy Hammer. COYFI!

Good news, We need a player like him to ensure Captain Marvel gets an elegant glide path to hanging up his boots. .
That needs to be with this club.

Seems quite committed to staying by all accounts, but has made it clear he won't entertain playing in the Championship. Quite right too - let's hope his colleagues feel the same and do something about it.

He apparently covered over 13km in his first full game for us... that's more than ANY other WHU player for many years, according to Moyes. (It is, in fact, more than twice what most of them return over 90 odd minutes).

Cracking player. He's going to make a difference in the run-in.

Same here, hope he sticks around afterwards as well. Him and Declan Rice are the start of a very solid midfield.

He's good but he's as slow as Rice and Noble and thats fucking slow. We could do with a bit of pace in there.

Vexed - I think you'll find he's not as slow as he looks. He has a bit of a loping stride but that's because he's 6ft 4ins. He certainly covers the ground and seems to be effective in all areas of the pitch. Oh, did I mention the fact that I rate him?

Re: Tomas Soucek

didnt he set some kind of record for distance covered by one of our players? (sorry if already posted).
i fancy hes got a goal or two in him.
from set plays we've got Diop, Ogbonna, Rice, Soucek, Haller and Antonio all a threat in the air.

Question is?
Does he start ahead of Noble with Rice? or with Noble and Rice in a three?

He actually gives us the luxury of rotating the line up for once.

Re: Tomas Soucek

Justin P - a midfield trio of Rice, Noble and Soucek is a very strong one, with good backup in the shape of Fornals, Snodgrass and Lanzini. Haller, Bowen and Antonio up front and that's a good side. Not much backup for the front three though

If Mark "never even had a bid in 20 years" Noble is a West Ham starter then we fully deserve to be relegated.

Re: Tomas Soucek

We have a lob-sided squad lacking shape and balance.
Soucek Rice Fornals is a good midfield...The latter is one of the best players we have - he shows flashes of quality but is sometimes overwhelmed in a disjointed team. If we sign another good DM he could play further forward behind the striker/s in the roaming role.
If everyone is in the right place and their most comfortable positions that boy is gold. More than Lanzini or Anderson.

Clubs with fans like gank end up playing Conference League because they don’t deserve servants like Noble.
